"When we decided to go solar, we did our homework and settled on Big Sky as the most likely candidate to install a system for us. We were not mistaken. Big Sky's Brian Roy was helpful but never pushy. He provided us with all the information we needed, answering our questions and running computations at the drop of a hat. The installation process went smoothly; all of Big Sky's people were competent and courteous, and everything happened on time. Putting in the system was the best decision we've made in many years; we bought a very large system, and since it went online we haven't bought electricity — on the contrary, we've been selling it, with enough capacity to take us through a period of several weeks when the snow from a hundred-year storm kept the system from producing any power. We are eminently pleased with the system and with Big Sky, and we are even happier that the whole thing is environmentally responsible."
"As you may recall, I was not an easy sell. It took me a few months of talking to you and the competition from NJ to pick a vendor. You won because you were the most honest and open.
Now that the 24 panels are installed, it is very exciting for us. Not a sunny day goes by without my wife asking how we did today with KWHRS. It’s fun. Of course, now that the snow is gone and the panels are unobstructed, it’s a daily event. Also, that you have put us in touch with EAU-NH it is even more fun. We didn’t totally eliminate Eversource’s bill, but we knew that we never would. We are so very pleased with you and the install. I would recommend you to anyone."
"As an application engineer at a leading wind energy instrument manufacturer in Boston, I conducted a through review of the best products available and designed a custom solution to maximum my solar energy potential for our single family house with a goal of net zero. I spoke with national firms representing specific solar panels who would only quote on their specific products in an undersized system. Big Sky worked with us to secure the necessary permits, reviewed our design and worked with the high-performance solar panels we selected to optimize the solar array.
We have been in operation since June 2013 and have produced over 15 MW from a 7.6 kW 240W HIT Panasonic array using ABB/Power-one micro-inverters resulting in a negative net meter balance. Brian and his team communicated with us during all phases of the project and were very responsive to any questions. We are pleased with our solar electrical system and would recommend Big Sky for your solar installation."
